Overview
The InstaFormat carousel maker works inside your browser. You do not need an account. This page explains what the carousel maker keeps on your device and what it does not collect.
Your photos stay on your device
When you add photos, your browser reads and resizes them on your device. They are saved in your browser storage so you can use them in every template. They are never uploaded to our servers. The slides you download are created on your device too.
What is saved on your device
The carousel maker saves these items in your browser: your photos, your projects (the template, the text, the slide count, the photo choices and a small preview picture), and your favorite templates. This data never leaves your device.
How to delete your data
You can remove one photo with the x button, or all photos with Clear all. You can delete a project on the History page. The Clear data item in the menu deletes all projects and all photos at once. Clearing your browser data also removes everything.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your photos, your text or your projects. We do not ask for a name, an email address or a password to use the carousel maker.
Ads and analytics
The carousel maker pages do not load ads or analytics scripts. Other pages on InstaFormat may use Google Ads and Google Analytics. They are described in our main Privacy Policy.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server keeps basic technical logs, such as the page requested, the time and the IP address. We use them for security and troubleshooting.
Sharing
The Share buttons only share a link to a template page. You choose the app that receives it. We do not see who you share with.
Links to other sites
Some templates link to the Instagram page of a creator who inspired the design. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add features. The date at the top shows the last update.
